My dad, Mike Vaira, defines himself mostly as a guitar player, fisherman and grandfather, but it turns out that, at least in my opinion, he's a pretty good song writer, too. All of these were recorded as full takes of guitar and vocals together, (with a few obvious overdubs sprinkled in), recorded when we'd have the chance to get together in the studio or at his place with a laptop. Unfiltered and with character in spades; that's Mike and that's this recording.
